It is with great pleasure that the Glenorchy Heritage and Museum group have opened the new exhibition space in Glenorchy. The first exhibition features the work of photographer Fred Finch

It has been a pleasure to research and design an interpretative display to celebrate the life of this early photographer in the Queenstown area.

A gift to the museum of glass plate negatives initially inspired the idea for the display. Further research uncovered more images and information about Fred Finch, which really brought the photographer and the early history of Queenstown and Glenorchy to life.

The display opened earlier this year on the Museum property by the Glenorchy Community Hall.
