Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use my own image?

Yes. Providing the image is of high enough quality. If your image is too small to use as is, we may be able to work some magic and get a result you like. We’ll work with you to either use your own image or find a similar image for you.

Can you make a design for me?

Yes. Come and talk to us, We’d love to design something unique for you.

How do I get an exact measurement?

Glass comes with a margin of error of plus or minus 2mm and this must be taken into account when measuring the space you want your splashback to go. Send us the exact measurement and we’ll take off the required amount to ensure a good fit.
You also have to take into account that the area you want to place your splashback may not be square, so be sure to measure both sides of an area.

Do I need to stop and seal the wall behind the splashback?

Yes, For the best results we recommend the wall be stopped and sealed or painted and allowed to cure for at least a week before the splashback is installed.

Can I have an odd shape?

Yes. The area will need to be templated to the shape and this will incur an extra charge
Cabinets being installed sometimes have these annoying bits hanging down that we need to cut around. Each notch in the glass costs extra. Not only that but glass can’t be cut in a sharp angle, but will have a curve to go around the notch. This means there will be a gap between the cabinet and the glass no matter how well the area is templated

Is there a size limit?

The Maximum sized glass we can get printed is 3600mm long and 2400mm high. Anything bigger than this will need to be joined.

How long will it take to receive my splashback?

Allow 2 weeks from the confirmed order if the area doesn’t need to be templated. If the area needs to be templated and measured then allow up to 4 weeks

Can I get a test print of my splashback to test the colour etc?

Yes. In fact it is a good idea to get a test print as computer screens are all different and the print might be a different colour to what you expect. Where colour is important then a test print is recommended.

How will I know what image will suit my splashback?

Inspiration is everywhere. Check out our pinterest page for more ideas, and you can ask us for a free mock up of various images from our library.

What happens if I have power points in the splash back area?

Let us know how many power points there are in your splashback area as holes can be cut in the glass to suit. If you are still in the design stage think about moving the power points as each hole costs extra.
